This is the night when Helsinki never sleeps. The August night on Friday, 21
August, will be filled with events and experiences of all shapes and sizes
from the early evening until the small hours. Discover what’s going on just
around the corner – in the city’s parks, streets and squares.
On this year’s Night of the Arts, the French street theatre company
Plasticiens Volants will transform Helsinki’s city centre sky into an
enormous ocean aquarium. Giant floating sea creatures will swim from
Esplanadi to the Senate Square, telling their aquatic tale along the way.
The whole Night of the Arts programme will be published in English next week
