A day of architecture and design

We will bring together architecture and design professionals and those of the general public with an interest in the industry. In this top-level architecture and design seminar, speeches will be made by international keynote speakers as well as designers who have been awarded prizes in the World Design Capital Gala.

The World Design Capital Gala will be organised at the Sibelius Hall in Lahti on 2 February 2012. The World Design Impact Prize, the Alvar Aalto medal and the Estlander prize will be awarded during the Gala.

Admission is free and the seats will be filled in order of registration.

The day of architecture and design will be organised by the Alvar Aalto Museum, Finnish Association of Architects SAFA, Museum of Finnish Architecture, Architectural Society, City of Helsinki and the Finnish Association of Designers ORNAMO.
