What does World Design Capital look like? Would you like to show it?

World Design Capital (WDC) Helsinki 2012 believes that World Design Capital looks just like you. Or your grandmother, nephew, exchange student friend, the caretaker at your office… you tell us!

WDC Helsinki 2012 is now looking for people of all ages to model in photo shoots to take place in all WDC Helsinki 2012 cities – Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen and Lahti. We’re also looking for locations for the shoots: homes, balconies, yards, gardens, allotment garden cabins, recreational facilities, workplaces, corporate and community facilities, and so forth.

The photos will be used in marketing and communications materials such as webpages, brochures, and press materials for the domestic and international media.

The photo shoots will take place in March-August 2011. The models and property owners or occupants will not be paid fees and rents or given other monetary compensation.

PEOPLE

We’re looking for people of all ages (from infant to grandfather) to model in World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 photos.

The photo shoots will take place in March-August 2011 in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen and Lahti.

You can register by email. Please attach the following to your email message:
a) Photograph of the model
b) Physical size of model (height, clothing size, shoe size)
c) Possible wishes for the date and time of the shoot
d) Contact information

The photographer will be in touch with models in March-August 2011 to set the date and time.

The models pose in their own clothing.

There are no fees or other monetary compensation for the models.

All models are asked to sign the WDC Helsinki 2012 Model Release, by which they (or their guardians) give the WDC Helsinki 2012 project full rights to use the photographs in marketing and communication materials.

WDC Helsinki 2012 will use the photos in marketing and communication materials such as webpages, brochures, and press materials for the domestic and international media.

LOCATIONS

We’re looking for real homes and other locations for World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 photo shoots. WDC Helsinki 2012 is our real, happy living environment.

We’re looking for homes, balconies, yards, gardens, allotment garden cabins, recreational facilities, workplaces, corporate and community facilities, and so forth.

The photo shoots will take place in March-August 2011 in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen and Lahti.

If you own, occupy or have access to a suitable home or space that you’d like to make available to us, please let us know by email.

Please attach the following to your email message:
a) Photo of the location (photos taken by mobile devices are acceptable)
b) Place and address of the location
c) Possible wishes for the date and time of the shoot
d) Contact information of the owner/contact person

The photographer will be in touch with the owner/contact person in March-August 2011 to set the date and time of the shoot.

There are no rents or other monetary compensation for the use of the locations.
