Visual image of World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 brainstormed in workshops in Shanghai

World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 organized a series of visual image workshops together with design agency Kokoro&Moi in Shanghai

The first brainstorming workshop was held on October 26 in the Finnish Pavilion at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China. The full-day session was attended by more than 2,500 visitors to the Expo, who were invited to draw their own interpretations of the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 logo. The drawings will be used as part of the Design Year’s visual image building.

The visual image workshop continued in Shanghai on October 27 together with Aalto University. The Aalto/Tongji Design Factory was attended by Chinese professionals from creative industries.

The results of the workshops will be seen for the first time at the major Finnish design export event HIRAMEKI Design × Finland in Japan during this week.
