Trend Book is the first joint project of the Helsinki and Dutch Design Weeks

The design event producers Helsinki Design Week and Dutch Design Week have initiated co-operation, which has produced its first concrete outcome: the newly published Trend Book.

Trend Book consists of reflections by more than 150 Finnish and Dutch writers on what inspires them in the present. Authors of articles discuss how to create caring society with the help of design.

The Finnish writers include Ilkka Suppanen, Vappu Taipale, Tommi Laitio, Jyrki Kasvi, Maria Veitola, Miika Särmäkari and Kati Hienonen.

Trend Book will not be sold at book stores but can be purchased online for the price of 15 euros plus shipping.

Co-operation between Helsinki Design Week and Dutch Design Week will continue over the coming years with various types of design projects
