First programme proposal phase ends

The first phase of the process where World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 invites proposals for programme items ended at midnight on Friday, February 11, 2011.

World Design Capital (WDC) Helsinki 2012 will begin to compile the year’s programme on the basis of the proposals received by the deadline. The proposals amount to thousand, and one proposal can include dozens of sub-projects.

Proposal review is already underway. If you have submitted a proposal, please wait for us to come back to you by email. WDC Helsinki 2012 will respond to all proposals. We will conduct negotiations on proposal execution during the spring of 2011, and agreements will be made throughout the current year.

You can still make a proposal!

WDC Helsinki 2012 continues to accept programme proposals. The deadline of the second proposal phase is in the early autumn 2011. We will announce the deadline later.

WDC Helsinki 2012 events and other activities taking place outside Finland are planned and coordinated by Huippu Design Management. Send your proposal for the international programme to wdchelsinki2012(at)huippu.fi
