Köln im Studio is celebrating a Red December

Design gallery Köln im Studio's “Manifesto exhibition and exhibition manifesto” Red December which will be staged in December redefines Christmas decoration. Young designers’ hand-made decorations will take over the gallery as well as decorate the only spruce tree forest in Punavuori.

More than 30 young generation designers are to be involved.

Red December which will be displayed until two days before Christmas opposes present-day Christmas trends and the reinvention of the wheel. The exhibition aims to bring thought, feeling and value back to Christmas decorations by returning to old-fashioned design. The decorations to be displayed tell a story – they are worthy of Christmas.
