The Helsinki Horizon 2030 exhibition container presents development plans for the seafront suburbs of the Design Capital.
The exhibition has toured London, Oslo, Cannes and Berlin and is housed in a real sea freight container lined with aerial photos of Helsinki. The photos help people understand the future of the Kalasatama, Länsisatama and Kruunuvuorenranta districts, while a video presentation outlines their history and present state as well as future plans.
The container is open in front of the old bus station on 22-25 August from 10 am to 6 pm and on Friday 26 August from 10 am to 9 pm. On Friday, the Runohäiriköt group is scheduled to perform on the container terrace at 4 pm as part of the Night of the Arts programme.
